Early Years Pedagogical Assistant (10%) - English Kids Club, Zollikon

The English Kids Club is an after-school program for children aged 4-8 years. We provide a warm, nurturing, and engaging educational environment where children develop confidence in English through play, science, literacy, creativity, and meaningful interactions.

We are currently looking for a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Early Years Pedagogical Assistant.

Responsibilities
• Support children during activities, transitions, snack time, and outdoor play.
• Assist in preparing and facilitating educational activities.
• Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
• Provide sensitive and age-appropriate support to individual children.
• Encourage children's independence, confidence, and social development.
• Work collaboratively with the lead teacher.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working with children aged 4-8 years in an educational, childcare, kindergarten, or school setting.
• Relevant studies, qualifications, or professional experience in education, early childhood education, social pedagogy, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Native-level or fluent English (spoken and written) is essential.
• Ability to communicate confidently and lead activities entirely in English.
• Warm, reliable, professional, and enthusiastic personality.
• Valid Swiss work permit or Swiss/EU citizenship.
